The first quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top medical apps in the United Kingdom on the Android platform. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here is an overview of the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends for the top five medical apps.

NHS App experienced a significant decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 167K and dropping to 59K by the end of March. Weekly active users also declined from 1.4M at the beginning of the quarter to around 769K by the end.

NHS COVID-19 saw a similar downward trend in weekly downloads, starting at 70K and decreasing to 21K. The app's weekly active users fluctuated, starting at 798K, dipping to 221K, and ending the quarter at around 276K.

NHS Scotland Covid Status also showed a decline in weekly downloads, from 19K to 5K. The weekly active user count remained relatively stable, hovering around 130K at the start and ending at approximately 107K.

Health Passport Worldwide had a consistent performance in terms of weekly downloads, maintaining around 5K to 6K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users remained stable, starting at 24K and ending at around 18K.

myGP® - Book GP appointments showed an interesting spike in downloads, particularly in the week of February 28, where it reached 17K downloads. Its weekly active users also peaked at 27K in the same week, before settling at around 13K by the end of March.
